Lecale Ramblers was founded in 1988 in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland to promote rambling and walking, including hill walking as well as to
promote an appreciation of the countryside and its history and geography.

We strive to preserve established Rights of Way and to encourage the development of walking trails as well as establishing good relations with landowners.

All our walks are organised by the individual members.

Lecale Ramblers membership is open to all over the age of 16 is non-political, non-sectarian and non-discriminatory and exercises a
low impact environmental policy as well as following the Country Code at all times.
